Once the SMART TRAY© is installed into the wall, it is then wedged tight with approved packers, the remaining gap (aprox 3mm) is then grouted with a sand/cement mortar aprox 3:1 mix with an integral PVA additive. Dependant on the surrounding wall colour a Low modulus silicone sealant can then be applied on to the tray edge if required. Weep vents are fitted at two brick intervals on bed joint installations, and central on catcher trays where a roof plane installation has been employed. The final finish is then one of a more aesthetic built in appearance. Copyright © Patent No GB 2371568
